Our Story

Two friends. A shared faith. A story, hand-poured.

RueRuA began at home, with two Korean mothers, a friendship, and the desire to create something meaningful.

In the midst of raising children and moving through the everyday, we found inspiration in the words we returned to—the verses that offered us hope, stillness, and a sense of renewal. We wanted to give those feelings a form you could carry with you.

That became our first fragrances, and the beginning of our Biblical Collection. Each scent was an interpretation of scripture: a way to hold a moment of faith close to the skin.

Hand-poured at home and first shared through pop-ups, RueRuA grew through personal encounters. A conversation across a table. A fragrance tried on the wrist. A story shared between strangers.

Our Korean roots bring another layer to that story. Alongside the Biblical Collection, our City Collection explores the places and memories that shape us, translating the atmosphere of Korean neighborhoods into fragrance.

Through it all, our beginning remains at the heart of RueRuA: two friends making something by hand, with care, and sharing it with the world.
